You can't plant these seeds but they will help you Grow

The sunflower seed is the seed of the sunflower. There are three types of commonly used sunflower seeds: linoleic, high oleic, and sunflower oil seeds. Each variety has its own unique levels of monounsaturated, saturated, and polyunsaturated fats. The information in this article refers mainly to the linoleic variety.

What’s a Seed Phrase, Anyway?

  • Your seed phrase (aka recovery phrase) is a string of 12 to 24 words that your wallet generates just for you.

  • It’s the master key to your crypto kingdom—lose it, and you lose everything. Share it, and someone else gets to rule your castle.

  • Think of it as the ultimate password, with the power to regenerate all your private keys.

  • Rule #1: Protect it like you would any pictures you do not want anyone to see

I wish everyone actually understood how important keeping seed phrases confidential and safe are. Fortunes have been lost by losing the wallet seed phrase.

When we in crypto say you CANNOT ever recover your crypto is you lose your keys or seed phrases we mean it. Its scary but if you learn safe practices from the start then you will have nothing to worry about.

To drill it into you: James Howell lost the keys (secret seed phrase) to a wallet on a hardrive by throwing his computer away. Now the fortune he threw away and not recoverable is worth $800 million USD in Bitcoin.

Cryptographic keys are an incredible technology but respect it and understand we get the freedom to transact outside of banks but because of that we need to understand the risk we take on as individuals.

Write It Down, Don’t Click “Save”!

  • Write it down ASAP—don’t trust your memory or your phone’s Notes app.

  • No screenshots, no cloud, no DMs. Digital copies are hacker bait.

  • Physical copy = real backup. You want something malware can’t touch.

  • Never, ever share it. Not with your BFF, not with a relative. I would not even share it with your partner and here is the reason why:

If your partner truly wants to know what you crypto you have in your wallet and you want to share that information then your partner does not need the seed phrase or keys. He or she just needs the wallet address.

They can look up the wallet address through a blockchain scan that is public and online and they can see all the assets held in that wallet without having the power to move or spend any of those assets.

I am not here to give dating advice but this will really test your relationship. Either your partner supports your sovereignty or not.

I recommend the old fashion way….Best Practices for Storing Your Seed Phrase Physically

  1. Physical Damage Protection:
Use fireproof paper, acid free paper, or metal plates. Paper is cute, but metal is forever.

  2. Safe Keeping:
Hide it like your holiday gifts—think safe deposit box or a home safe. Lockers work too.

  3. Multiple Copies:
Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Make a couple of copies and stash them in different secret spots. If one gets lost or burned, you’re still the boss 1.
